June 19 is one of the most significant days to the Korean people. According to the desire of the people the great leader Kim Jong Il started to work at the Central Committee of the Workers´ Party of Korea on June 19, Juche 53 or 1964, 49 years ago.
   On the occasion of the significant day which is an event in the shaping of their destiny and the development of the revolution, the Korean people look back with deep emotion upon the proud history shining with glory.
 
                                                                       Dawn of History
 
   The great Kim Jong Il started to work at the Central Committee of the WPK on June 19, Juche 53 or 1964. After spending the historic first day with tense work and greeting the morning of June 20, he went out and slowly strolled in the compound of the Party Central Committee. He felt the morning air very fresh. With a bright smile on his face, Kim Jong Il said the air early in the morning is really good and revolutionaries always take the morning air before anybody else.
   The flag of the WPK with a hammer, sickle and writing brush was fluttering on the building of the Party Central Committee. Looking at the party flag flying against the sky at sunrise, Kim Jong Il said his grandfather would always breathe morning air before anybody else to fight against the Japanese imperialists and the great leader President Kim Il Sung was greeting the morn before others for the future of Korea as he did during the anti-Japanese war.
   That morning Kim Jong Il, firmly pressing the officials´ hands, proposed doing party work well as intended and desired by President Kim Il Sung. Nearly 50 years has passed since the historic day.
   In those years Kim Jong Il, guiding the party work, always greeted the dawn before anybody else. In the early mornings he ushered in the heyday of culture and arts in the 1970s and opened a new history of capital city construction to bring about prosperity of Pyongyang in the 1980s. He also worked till late at night and greeted the morning before others in those days of leading the Songun revolution in the 1990s. He performed the greatest exploits for the country and people, opening shortcut to the building of a prosperous nation. It was also in the early morning when he printed his last foortprint in his life.
   The proud advance and victory of the Korean revolution and the present great reality with the single-minded unity of the leader, party and masses are unthinkable apart from the early morning greeted by Kim Jong Il.

                                                        The Party Is the Cradle of My Life
 
   "When I was little I lost my parents. But under the loving care of the party I grew without any sorrow, learning to my heart´s content at schools and Kim Il Sung University and worked as a party official of a district for a long time. The WPK is taking care of all people in this country as well as me. So all people express gratitude to the party, calling it mother party.
   It is Kim Jong Il who built the WPK into the people´s party serving them. I still remember what he said as regards the popular character of the WPK.
   One day in January Juche 79 or 1990 Kim Jong Il met officials and said:
   Parties of many countries gave up revolution and betrayed the people. But the WPK can never betray the people but should take charge of their destiny to the end even though the sky falls. The slogan of our party ought to be ´We Serve the People!´.
   We Serve the People! What a touching slogan it is!
   The noble slogan is an invariable slogan of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un.
   True to his noble outlook on the people, the WPK, in working out a line or a policy, adopting a decision and building a factory or a town, thinks first of the demand and will of the people and sees that their interests and convenience are ensured properly.
   Not only that. The WPK is the benevolent bosom that takes care of all people without blaming their faults and a bosom that spares nothing to save even a life. In the bosom I grew up and today, too, innumerable sons and daughters of this country are entrusting their destiny and future to the party, regarding it as the cradle of their lives. Not forgetting the favour of the WPK which reared and took care of me, I will do everything in my power to support the party."
   Today the revolutionary cause of Juche of the great leader Kim Jong Il is brilliantly carried forward by respected Kim Jong Un. The world people highly praise respected Kim Jong Un, the great leader of the WPK, as a peerlessly great man.
 
                                            Unrivalled Statesman Recognized by the World
 
    The World Congress of the Juche Idea was held in Pyongyang in April Juche 101 or 2012.
   The participants said in unison that it is a historic event to hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the First Secretary of the WPK, and added that the prospect of the cause of global independence is infinitely bright thanks to Kim Jong Un. What they said was not an accident.
   In late Juche 101 or 2012 the US magazine "Time" reported that respected Kim Jong Un was nominated as "man of 2012". It was a view of the world people.
   The purest sincerity for Kim Jong Un is expressed in all parts of the world.
   Last year a member of the Italian Chapter of the Korean Friendship Association presented Marshal Kim Jong Un with glasswork "photometer" as a gift.
   He said: "The small metal chips in the gift turn round when lit. Korea is not a big country, but moves the world with a great strength in the centre of the world politics. Sunshine is the motive force moving the photometer. In other words, the sun in the world is Kim Jong Un. I represented in the gift my thought that Korea led by the great sun is leading the world and confidently advancing along the road of Juche."
   The First Chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea´s Reunification and other personages of different sections made public poems such as "Kim Jong Un! Glory to You" and
"Kim Jong Un! We Sing of You".
   He received hundreds of items of gifts from all parts of the world.
   Personages of different countries say:
   "Foreigners including me met ordinary Koreans during their visit to north Korea, who said with great delight that His Excellency Kim Jong Un is identical with His Excellency Kim Il Sung. Of course, little is known of him, but he has already shown his ability fully."
    That was what was said by Alexandr Vorontsov at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
    Chai Long, Board Director of the Tumen Shirong Trading Company Ltd. of China, who had met respected Kim Jong Un, said:
   "I felt that Kim Jong Un is a prominent leader with gifted talents and an uncommon leader of the whole of Korea."
   Alejandro Cao de Benos, Chairman of the Korean Friendship Association Headquartered in Spain, said: 
   The history of the WPK led by respected Kim Jong Un recognized by the world will further shine along with the significant June 19.
