Historic relics--Sami Pavilion and Stone Lion in Sami-dong--are in Haeju City of South Hwanghae Province.

The Sami Pavilion was built in the 19th century during the Feudal Joson Dynasty. Some delicately-trimmed granite columns were linked to wooden pillars to build the pavilion with a hip-saddle roof on it.

The Sami Pavilion is a typical one that combined itself with the surroundings well. It is a plain building with simple painting. The pavilion can overlook the fine view of beautiful ravine and clear water.
