The Myonggan Tertiary Shellfish Fossil Bed is found in Myonggan County of North Hamgyong Province of Korea.
It is about 50 metres long, 20 metres wide and 10 metres high.
In the bed there are fossils of shellfish and Gastropoda in rows or sparsely in heaps.

The shell is 18 millimeters long, 4 to 5 millimeters thick and about 15 millimeters high. Usually, it is thick and pointed.
This fossil bed was formed in the condition of shallow sea belonging to the Tertiary period.
