Senior officials of Party and government visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun
  The respected Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on December 17, the greatest national day of mourning.
  Present on the occasion were Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK; Jo Yong Won, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and Secretary for Organizational Affairs of the Central Committee of the WPK; Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK; Pak Jong Chon, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK; and other senior officials of the Party and the government and leading officials of the ministries and national agencies.
  Leading officials of the armed forces organs were also on hand.
  A floral basket presented by Kim Jong Un was laid before the full-length statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
  Floral baskets were placed in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
  General Secretary Kim Jong Un, together with the visitors, paid noble tribute to the full-length statues.
  At the Hall of Immortality where Kim Jong Il is laid in state, Kim Jong Un offered the humblest respect to Kim Jong Il who laid a solid foundation for the dignity and prosperity of the generations to come by devoting his all to the sacred cause for the country and people throughout his life under the red flag of Juche.
