Koryo Insam Exhibition House
Displayed in the house are the Kaesong Koryo Insam widely known to the world as a speciality of Korea from olden times and diverse goods made of it.
It protects five viscera and has good effect on the cerebral and vascular systems and promotes metabolism by stimulating the internal glands. It also makes one energetic, relieves one's fatigue, increases the mental and physical ability and invigorates the body.
Especially, the Kaesong Koryo Insam of Korea is widely known to the world as a material for tonics with high medicinal efficacy.
In the Koryo Insam Exhibition House there are the Kaesong Koryo Insam of different sizes, Kaesong Koryo Red Insam Flour, Kaesong Koryo Red Insam Slices and various kinds of insam tea such as the Kaesong Koryo Insam Tea, Kaesong Koryo Insam and Matrimony Vine Fruit Tea and Kaesong Koryo Insam and Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Tea.
Also on display are different kinds of cosmetics including lotion and milk cream made of the Kaesong Koryo Insam, which are popular among women.
In addition, the exhibition house makes various foods with insam, a speciality of Kaesong. Such foods made of insam as the steamed chicken with rice and insam in its belly, sweet rice dish mixed with insam and unseasoned kimchi mixed with insam are winning popularity as they keep the real tastes of the traditional Korean foods.
