State academic degrees and titles awarded to intellectuals
  State academic degrees and titles were awarded to the intellectuals who are reliably guaranteeing the overall prosperity and development of our state with proud sci-tech research findings.
  Present at the awarding ceremony held on the 17th were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Jon Sung Guk and intellectuals.
  A decision of the State Commission for Conferment of Academic Degrees and Titles of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was read out.
  Professorship was awarded to Researcher Han Chol Hun at the State Academy of Sciences.
  Doctorate was conferred on 29 intellectuals including Section Chief Rim Chol Min at Kim Il Sung University, Researcher Kim Jong Guk at Kim Chaek University of Technology and Teacher Ho Chung Hyok at Kim Hyong Jik University of Education.
