46th anniversary of victory in Sandinista People's Revolution marked
An event took place at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club in Pyongyang on the 18th under the sponsorship of the Nicaraguan embassy in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory in the Sandinist People's Revolution.
Invited to the event were Vice-Foreign Minister Jong Tong Hak, officials concerned, diplomatic representatives of different countries in the DPRK and staff members of their embassies.
Present there was Manuel Modesto Munguia Martinez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua.
Speeches were made.
Ambassador Manuel Modesto Munguia Martinez mentioned the exploits of the Sandinist National Liberation Front and the merits of the resistants who overthrew the pro-US dictatorial regime and opened up the road of building a free and equal new society, and expressed his stand to strengthen and develop the friendly relations with the anti-imperialist independent countries.
Vice-Foreign Minister Jong Tong Hak extended his full support and encouragement to the government and people of Nicaragua in their efforts to reject the aggression, sanctions and suffocation moves of the imperialists and build a new society.
Then, the participant watched a video program on the Sandinist People's Revolution.
