Active efforts made to make innovations in foreign language teaching
Kim Ju Hyok Senior Middle School in Mangyongdae District built study halls in a peculiar way for the students to learn foreign languages and is conducting the work in a methodological way to improve their command of foreign languages. The Okryu Primary School in Taedonggang District created a method of teaching foreign languages with main stress on correcting pronunciation according to the characteristics of ages of the pupils with high intuitive thinking ability.
The Ryomyong Senior Middle School and the Pulgunbyol Primary School in Taesong District are searching and applying diverse foreign language teaching methods so that the students and pupils can develop their ability of speaking in foreign languages in their daily life. Other general education units in the city are working hard to make innovations in foreign language teaching.
