General Secretary Kim Jong Un calls consultative meeting of senior officials of Party Central Committee and provincial Party committees
  Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, called a consultative meeting of senior officials of the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party committees in the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee on June 7.
  Present at the meeting were Jo Yong Won and Kim Tok Hun, Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, secretaries and department directors of the Party Central Committee and chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees.
  The meeting intensively examined the detailed situation of sectors in implementing the major policies for the second half of the year before the Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee and discussed practical issues arising in solving it.
  At the consultative meeting, Kim Jong Un understood and examined the urgent problems related to the economic work of the state and the people's living and assigned crucial tasks for their implementation.
  Pointing out the direction of work and study of the departments of the Party Central Committee, the government organs and the provincial Party committees to cope with the present situation, he voiced his plan to bring about a substantial change in the economic work of the state and the stabilization of the people's living on the occasion of the Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee.
  He stressed time and again that the senior officials of the Party Central Committee, the government and the provincial Party committees should devote themselves to doing their honourable duty responsible for the destiny of the country and people, deeply conscious of their mission and duty. He gave crucial instructions on a number of measures to develop the economy of the country and improve the material and cultural living standards of the people.
