This is Merited Scientist and Dr. Kim Chang Yu, Section Chief of the Sariwon Kye Ung Sang University of Agriculture.
He developed effective compound bacteria guaranteeing high yields and organic fertilizer production technology on the basis of them.
He travelled the whole country for over 20 years from his 20s to collect samples and separate more than 16,000 strains. Of them, he selected 28 strains to make compound bacteria.

This is Merited Teacher Ri Tong Hun at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace. He dreamed of becoming a famous painter from his childhood.
Since he was appointed as a teacher of the palace built in 1989, however, he has taught children, hoping that they would realize their dreams.
Many of his group members won grand prizes, gold medals and top prizes at international contests including the international children's art exhibition.
He has a view of life that he will train the rising generations of the country all his life.
