Enthusiastic Pursuit for 100 Percent
Scientists of the Veterinary Science Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Sciences established a scientific diagnostic method of judging the nature and types of such animal diseases promptly and correctly.
Section Chief Chae Myong Ho played a key role here.

He is an authoritative man of ability in the field of veterinary science of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with more than 30 year-long career as a researcher.
He already surprised the academic world long ago with timely and correct diagnosis of an epidemic disease that broke out anew among animals.
He was awarded a doctorate in his 30s for his lots of valuable research findings including the home production of veterinary medicines for preventing various diseases found in domestic animals.
In his 40s, he ensured the home production of veterinary medicines badly needed in the field of poultry farming, making a contribution to the development of the poultry farming of the country.
Section Chief Chae Myong Ho set a goal to ensure the home production of the vaccine for foot and mouth disease by his own efforts and worked hard to attain it.
He denied the accepted method, presented a proposal to ensure the maximum profitability at low cost price and established a new culture process.
And he built up a rational technical process to manufacture adjuvant with locally available raw materials together with other members of the institute.
In this way he carried out his research to the end and finally developed and produced the efficacious vaccine for foot and mouth disease completely with our own strength, technology and raw materials.
In the course of his researches for over 30 years, he ensured the home production of more than ten kinds of veterinary medicines including the vaccine for foot and mouth disease.
Each of his research findings is associated with his enthusiastic pursuit to create more wealth for the development of the country's veterinary science.
He is now making continued speculation and pursuit to develop a new veterinary medicine with the members of his research team.
