The Natural History Museum is in the capital city of Pyongyang.
It has the Outer Space Hall, the Paleozoic Hall, the Mesozoic Hall, the Cenozoic Hall, the Fauna Hall, the Flora Hall and the Gifts Hall which can give a correct understanding and wide knowledge of nature.
One day in May 2016, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Natural History Museum nearing completion.
That day, he stood for a long while in front of a lifelike ancestral apple tree.

The ancestral apple tree is a living monument growing in Ryongjon-ri, Pukchong County of South Hamgyong Province, which is noted for its apples in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Looking at the imitation apples, Kim Jong Un said how good it would be to have such trees with so many apples and asked an accompanying official about the apple output planned by the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm that year.
After listening to the official, too, he looked at the apple tree for a good while.
Even at the moment when he was looking at the ancestral apple tree heavy laden with fruits, he thought of the people who would be happy to be provided with apples.
