Longquan Treasured Sword
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was presented with the gift--Longquan Treasured Sword--by the General Manager and the Deputy General Manager of the Dandong Guanhua Business and Trading Company Ltd. of China on a visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on July 25, 2013.
The Longquan Treasured Sword of China has a long history of more than 2,500 years.
The treasured sword presented as gift is said to have been made by a descendant of a well-known treasured sword manufacturers' family of China with sincerity for 100 days.
Seen at both ends of the wooden sheath and in its middle part are brass decorative bands and letters reading; "Longquan of China" inscribed on them.
The edge of the sword is 75.5 centimetres long and 3.5 centimetres wide and the treasured sword put in the sheath is 99 centimetres long in total.
