"Kangdong Vegetables"
The Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm is a large-scale vegetable producer whose production has been put on an advanced intelligent and intensive footing with its modernity, culture and practical efficiency surely guaranteed.
Various kinds of tasty and nutritive vegetables produced at the farm are supplied to the citizens regularly through commercial service bases in different places of the capital city.
Now everybody talks about the greenhouse vegetables from Kangdong in the streets, villages and workplaces.
They usually ask each other if they were supplied with greenhouse vegetables from Kangdong and a new coinage of "Kangdong vegetables" has come into being in their life.
One day in July 2018, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un announced his plan to remove an airport in Kangdong County of Pyongyang and build a large-scale greenhouse farm in the place. He said he will remove two or three airports, not one, if he can solve the vegetable problem of the people in the provincial and county seats and cities, adding that nothing should be spared for the people.
He examined and guided more than 300 blueprints and over 3,280 technical designs. These figures clearly show the painstaking efforts he made for the completion of the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm.
Kim Jong Un took detailed measures ranging from the formation of building forces and the operation of vehicles to the supply of equipment, materials and funds needed for its construction.
Capital citizens unanimously say that the new coinage of "Kangdong vegetables" came into being thanks to his great love for the people.
