The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is a leading iron producer in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with great potentiality for production and powerful technical force.
Last year the workers of the complex overhauled the 100-ton ultra-high power electric arc furnace with success and improved the technology of operating the energy-saving oxygen-blast furnace, carrying out their yearly iron production plan.
