A Story about a Grand Workshop

A national grand workshop of Children's Union school instructors, the first of its kind in the history of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, was held in the capital city of Pyongyang in March 2025.

Ko Un Gyong, Instructor of the Children's Union at Kim Song Ju Primary School, said she could not forget those days when she took part in the grand workshop and learned a lot, and continued:
"At the national grand workshop of Children's Union school instructors, I keenly felt once again the duty and role of the Children's Union school instructors in firmly preparing the Children's Union members as genuine young revolutionaries and patriots in line with the requirements of the new era.
In those days, all the participants in the workshop including me came to acquire precious ideological and mental pabulum and effective methodologies for bringing about a certain improvement in the strengthening of the Children's Union organizations of schools and the education of schoolchildren and have political and practical qualifications and practical ability."
The national grand workshop of Children's Union school instructors was provided amid the deep concern of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who regards the Children's Union school instructors as the first teachers of the new generations and intends to further develop the work of the Children's Union.
Kim Jong Un had the grand workshop held significantly in Pyongyang and paid deep attention to its scale and progress, visit and other cultural activities.
As he considered the work of the Children's Union a crucial issue related to the destiny of the country and the prospect of revolution, he took all measures paying such deep concern to the issues on the grand workshop.
Ko Un Gyong said:
"The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un called the Children's Union school instructors those who design, plan and conduct Children's Union activities and ranking teachers. His trust and love serve as a motive force that enables our Children's Union school instructors to cover the road of loyalty and return with tireless passion."
The national grand workshop of Children's Union school instructors which was held for the first time in the DPRK served as an epoch-making occasion of bringing about a new development in the work of Children's Union of schools.
