Production Increases at Sangwon Cement Complex
In recent years, workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex have surpassed the level of peak production year several times since its inauguration.
Last year, in particular, they achieved miraculous successes unprecedented in the cement production.
This year, they have risen up for increased cement production, rejecting the precedent and limits again.
In keeping with the increased number of construction projects demanding cement, the complex planned to further raise the operating rate of equipment than last year and induced workshops and workteams to actively introduce advanced working methods and new technologies, arousing their enthusiasm from the beginning of the year.
When the issue of urgently repairing the roasting furnace was raised, workers of the Calcination Workshop of the complex finished its repair work in a day, which had been scheduled to be done in three days. Those at the Cement Workshop also shortened the days of replacing parts of equipment by more than a half while overcoming the unfavourable weather conditions in winter.
Miners of several mines in charge of the supply of raw materials invented and introduced technical innovation proposals which are of significance in shortening the ores-conveying route of large trucks and operating crushers at full capacity, expanding successes in production. They also manufactured and installed devices for ensuring safe operation of equipment and introduced new mining and tunneling methods, registering high results in production every day.
This year, the workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex have produced tens of thousands of tons more of cement up to date.
They continue to expand successes in the cement production by kindling the fierce flames of creating new standards and new records with the high consciousness that the great breath of the Sangwon Cement Complex is precisely the vigorous advance at the grand construction sites.
