A Story Told by Hot Spring Resort
He was pleased to think of the resort to be built there before long and of the people who would enjoy spa culture in the resort. Then, looking at a hill near the construction site, he said in a low voice that it was a "hill of despair", and continued:
Last time when we were confirming the location of the hot spring resort, we actually had no confidence coming here. We went to a rest home across the hill to learn about gush, which was not satisfactory. Coming over here, I wondered if we were going in vain, which weighed heavily upon my mind.
Recalling those days when he was taking rugged road to find out a spring mouth for the resort despite torrential rain, Lecturer Ri Jong Sun at the Korean Revolution Museum said:
"Though he crossed rugged mountains with a great expectation, the respected Comrade
So he decided to confirm everything in person and looked round different places for a long time.
But he could not find out the spring mouth he wanted. He climbed up the hill along the rough path wet by rainwater.
Feeling so disappointed, he crossed the hill with much difficulty.
His devoted efforts for the people, however, paid off at last. The spring mouth with the perfect indices appeared before him."
