Workplace Loved by Mother and Daughter

Head Kim Sung Hui has been working at this tailor's shop for decades.
She started her career in the field of clothing following in the footsteps of her mother who was a cutter. Since then, she has devoted her wisdom and passion to developing our dressing culture.
She collected data in different places including the Grand People's Study House to make her insight keep up with the aesthetic sense of the times and consulted magazines and dress sample books to grasp rational cutting methods. She also called on experienced designers and garment experts to learn how to draw designs and made a deep study of the bodies, skeletons and facial forms of people. While walking in streets, she paid attention to the people's attire all the time to plan and mature new dress designs.
She always thought that as hundreds of species of flowers have their own shapes and colours, so the people in the streets should be dressed differently.
The clothes she made enjoyed popularity for their new styles and fittedness. In the course, she came to love her workplace which adds beauty to the people, though small.

She presented over 20 dress designs with their own individuality to the recent National Industrial Art Exhibition for Celebrating April 15, which were favourably commented by judges and visitors.
"I am so pleased and feel an unusual pride when I try the clothes I designed and made on the people and when they say with pleasure that they like them.
The more wonderfully we make clothes, the more beautiful the Korean women and other people will become and the brighter our streets will turn. For such pride, I love my job."
Cha Su Gyong is making strenuous efforts to create dress designs which are different according to sexes, ages and occupations and concrete according to likings, aesthetic tastes and figures of individuals.
Thanks to her efforts, she will be a cutter loved by the people like her grandmother and mother.
