  Xi Jinping
General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China
President of the People's Republic of China

  Esteemed General Secretary,
I express my heartfelt thanks to you for having sent warm congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The invariable support and encouragement of yours and the Chinese party, government and people are powerfully encouraging us in our efforts to firmly defend the security of the state and the well-being of the people and victoriously advance socialism despite the vicious moves of the hostile forces to isolate and blockade us and the world health crisis.
I believe that the traditional and strategic relations between our two parties and countries established and consolidated in the struggle for socialism would be constantly strengthened and developed onto a new high stage.
I wish the Chinese party, government and people a greater success in further strengthening the party, building a modernized socialist state in an overall way and accomplishing the cause for reliably guaranteeing the sovereignty of the state and the territorial integrity under your leadership.

  Kim Jong Un
General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea
