Advanced farming methods and technologies introduced
The Jehyon Farm under the Rural Economy Committee of South Phyongan Province and many other farms across the country adopt the greenhouse rice-seedling cultivation method, a labour- and site-saving farming method. South Hwanghae Province, the largest agricultural province of the country, introduced the cultivation method by mulching into a lot of areas, solving the issue of manpower.
Yomju County of North Phyongan Province, the Jangchon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District of Pyongyang and many other regions and farms expand the area for introduction of organic farming method by freshwater snail and promote the work for protecting land and adopting water-saving farming method.
