DPRK Premier makes field survey of different sectors
  Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
  He visited the city of Samjiyon in Ryanggang Province and learned about the reconstruction of the Samjiyon Airport and the projects for building the city into a newer and innovative civilized city including the Pukphothaesan area tourist resort and the Sobaeksu Hotel before taking some measures.
  At the Wonsan General Fishing Tackle Factory in Kangwon Province, he stressed the need to produce a greater number of fishing tackle of different kinds. At the Pyongyang Construction Machine Factory and the Pyongyang Grain Processing Machine Factory, he acquainted himself with the manufacture of equipment needed at the regional-industry factories and took necessary measures.
  The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed the issue for the relevant units to supply equipment and materials for building the city of Samjiyon with responsibility and accelerating the final works in a qualitative way, the issue on further modernizing the fishing tackle production equipment and the issue on making a qualitative leap in the production of machinery and equipment by increasing the sci-tech forces.
  On the other hand, Premier Pak Thae Song called at the construction site of the general inclined shaft of the Anju Area Coal-Mining Complex to learn about its tunneling and perpetuation. Looking round the Namchil and Songhak farms in the city of Anju, he underlined the need to manure and cultivate crops in a scientific way and increase the greenhouse vegetable production.
