79th founding anniversary of KCU celebrated by Children's Union members in DPRK
The schoolchildren in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea significantly celebrated the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
The Children's Union members visited the bronze statues of the great leaders GeneralissimosKim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il across the country, laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers and made a bow to them.
Joint meetings of organizations, general meetings of the Children's Union, meetings of exemplary schoolchildren of virtue and meetings to hear the prides of the Children's Union members were held by the provincial, city and county committees of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League and the Children's Union organizations at schools on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.
Art performances of schoolchildren were given and sports and amusement games held in all parts of the country, adding pleasure to the holiday.
