Environment management to be improved
The Ministry of Land and Environment Protection is guiding a substantial work to grasp the technical conditions of all the roads of the country and increase the modernity and safety of imperfect roads.
Provincial land and environment protection fields are working hard to plant trees of good species and ground covers in the local parks and pleasure grounds and rural villages and around railways.
They also call for reinforcing environment observation posts watching in real time the atmospheric quality and water quality of rivers in their localities and enhancing their roles.
The work is promoted in the city of Pyongyang to set up new environment observation posts on a trial basis and install advanced measuring devices to widen the environmental monitoring network.
