President Kim Il Sung remembered in DPRK
  The Korean people cherished the memory of the great leader Kim Il Sung, father of their dignified socialist state and eternal President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, with the humblest reverence on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of his demise.
  Flags were hoisted half-mast on the flagpoles and at the institutions, industrial establishments, farms and schools across the country on the 8th, the greatest national day of mourning.
  Working people, service personnel of the People's Army and school youth and children visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the supreme temple of Juche where the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are laid in state, and paid high tribute to them.
  The visitors to the bronze statues and mosaic murals of the great leaders on Mansu Hill and in different other places laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers wishing for their immortality.
  The officials, Party members, working people, service personnel and school youth and children throughout the country watched the documentaries "Our Leader Praised by All People", "Finding Himself among the People All His Life" and "People Sing of the Leader" in their workplaces, posts and families.
  Meetings to hear stories about virtues of Kim Il Sung were held in different parts of the country in praise of his noble revolutionary life and undying exploits.
  Speakers at the meetings eulogized the sacred life of Kim Il Sung who gave immortal viability to the history of the Korean revolution ever-victorious with independence, self-sustenance and self-reliant national defence and laid eternal foundation for building a powerful and prosperous state.
