Performance given to celebrate 77th founding anniversary of DPRK
A performance was given at the Ice Rink on the 9th to celebrate the 77th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
It was enjoyed by members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and other senior officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, members of the central leadership body of the Party in Pyongyang, deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly, officials of the ministries and national agencies, labour innovators and meritorious persons invited to the celebrations of the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK, teachers and students of the revolutionary schools and Pyongyang citizens.
Also seeing the performance were overseas Koreans staying in the socialist homeland.
Invited to see it were foreign diplomatic representatives and members of their missions in the DPRK.
The performance was given by artistes of art organizations at all levels, students of art educational institutions, figure skaters and schoolchildren.
The performers newly created and performed the songs of patriotism and loyalty dedicated by the people to the motherland and paeans to socialism in artistic harmony with ice dancing and figure skating, making the performance conspicuous.
