Improvement of educational structure promoted
The Ministry of Education has accelerated preparations to enforce a new teaching work administration system at major universities and teachers training colleges since the new school year and to implement the second programme of universal 12-year compulsory education in the field of general education.
The major universities put spurs to integrating faculties and courses and accepting the new teaching work administration system according to their actual conditions.
The teachers training colleges make the new teaching work administration system prove effective in the educational practice while developing and introducing integrated teaching work administration system and solving the problems arising in its operation now that the new system has been enforced.
Practical trainings and demonstrations for innovating the educational structure took place in different places amid the work to apply on a trial basis the course of selective education at the stage of senior middle school to the city of Songnim of North Hwanghae Province, Hoechang County of South Phyongan Province and Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province and generalize its experience.
