National sci-tech presentation and exhibition in field of bioengineering held
  A national sci-tech presentation and exhibition in the field of bioengineering took place between the 15th and the 19th under the sponsorship of the Korean Society of Bioengineering under the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
  Present there were officials, scientists, technicians and postgraduate students of more than 10 units including Kim Il Sung University and the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences.
  Submitted to the sci-tech presentation were basic research findings for the development of bioengineering and valuable papers conducive to converting the bioengineering technology into goods of practical use.
  Presented to the exhibition were data and exhibits showing the research, development and introduction of the bioengineering technology and its economic effectiveness.
  During the period, a lecture was given on the conception of biological economy and the tendency of its development.
