Awards of best coach for men and best youth player for women conferred on Coach Ri Song Ho and footballer Choe Il Son
Coach Ri Song Ho led the DPRK women's football team to come off a victor at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and as a result, he received the award for the third time in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the wake of Coach Choe Kwang Sok (2006) and Coach Kim Kwang Min (2008).
Choe Il Son made a contribution to enabling the DPRK team to win the World Cup by displaying high physical and technical ability and fire power at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In the long run, she became the winner of the award of best youth player for women for the fourth time in the country.
