DPRK Taekwon-Do players back home
  Taekwon-Do players of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea returned home on the 18th after demonstrating the honour of the country at the 23rd Taekwon-Do World Championships held in Italy between the 3rd and the 13th.
  The championships brought together more than 1,180 men and women players from over 70 countries and regions including the DPRK, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Greece, Canada and Argentina. At the championships the DPRK players bagged 74 medals including 46 gold medals and a team trophy cup, coming first in total standings of countries.
  They were warmly greeted at the Pyongyang International Airport by Secretary of the Cabinet Kim Kum Chol, Member of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, officials of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee and families of the players and coaches.
  Sportspeople congratulated the Taekwon-Do players and coaches on their successful matches, putting garlands around thier necks and presenting them with bouquets.
