Premier makes field survey of different units

Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different units of the national economy.
At the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, the Songnam Youth Coal Mine of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and the Kaechon Coal Mine of the Kaechon Area Coal Mining Complex, he encouraged the colliers and discussed the issues arising in increasing the coal production.
At the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant, he underscored the need to carry out the power production plan by fully solving problems arising in revitalization of power production in close cooperation with a science research institute.
The premier learned in detail about the production of the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and underlined the need to decisively increase the fertilizer production.
Looking round the Hard Alloy Production Station under the Academy of Coal Mining Science of the Ministry of Coal Industry and the Ryonggang Stone Processing Factory, he emphasized the need to push ahead with the remodelling and modernization in a planned way and produce quality stone goods.
Measures were taken to provide the coal mines with materials, equipment and accessories and increase the production of electricity and fertilizer.
