Phyongsong Zoo built in South Phyongan Province
The zoo covers an area of more than 20,000 square metres with a number of animal houses and service buildings. It is another base of cultural and emotional life for the people in the province.
Its inaugural ceremony was held on the 2nd with the attendance of Ri Kyong Chol, Chief Secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders, working people in the city of Phyongsong and employees of the zoo.
