Preparations for fish farming in paddy fields brisk in DPRK
The city of Pyongyang organized the demonstration of breeding fish farming facilities and ground for fish farming in paddy fields in Mangyongdae District on two occasions in November. Over 50 hectares of right paddy fields were selected in the city and their transformation wound up.
South Phyongan Province selected one hundred and tens of hectares of paddy fields as right ones for fish farming in paddy fields in rural communities in intermediary mountain areas as well as flat areas and finished the work for transforming them.
North Hamgyong and North Hwanghae provinces and the city of Nampho also put efforts into the work for bringing about improvement in the fish farming in paddy fields.
