First-section project of Aedo Tideland completed
  Builders of the Tideland Reclamation Complex of North Phyongan Province completed the 1st-section project of the Aedo Tideland in which they had to build over 12-kilometre-long embankment from the Ilhae area in the city of Jongju to the Sinbong area via the Ae Islet. As a result, they dammed up tens of kilometre-long rough sea to get thousands of hectares of new land.
  The complex finished the first damming-up project in a little over one year and completed the first-section project of the Aedo Tideland in two years by concentrating means and forces on the completion of embankment project.
  Officials and builders of the complex are hastening preparations for another project at the Ilhae tideland reclamation site.
