Chairman Kim Jong Il remembered abroad
Memorial services, film shows and book and photo exhibitions were held in Pakistan, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Britain, Austria, Iceland, Finland, Serbia, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Mexico on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the demise of the great leader Kim Jong Il.
They were attended by personages of political and public circles and other people in those countries.
Screened at the film shows were documentaries on the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il and video programs showing the proud reality of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea opening a new era of overall development of socialism.
Speakers at the events highly praised Kim Jong Il who carried forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung as a peerless patriot who turned Korea into an invincible fortress of socialism.
They said the DPRK is fully demonstrating its prestige as a powerful country at the centre of the world under the seasoned leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who adds lustre to the exploits of Kim Jong Il.
Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the memorial services held in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland and Finland.
