Groundbreaking ceremonies held to start projects for regional development policy-oriented construction
Groundbreaking ceremonies heralding the start of construction in the new year took place in Songhwa County of South Hwanghae Province, Musan County of North Hamgyong Province, Taean District in the city of Nampho and Phanmun District in the city of Kaesong respectively on the 6th.
Present there were Choe Tong Myong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Chang Il, Kim Hyong Sik and Ju Chol Gyu, Department Directors of the Party Central Committee, senior officials of the Party and power organs of South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces and the cities of Nampho and Kaesong, officials and working people in those regions, and soldier-builders
Addressing the ceremonies, speakers stressed that the reality, in which unheard-of gigantic revolution for transforming the regions is carried on in succession, is a miraculous change that can be made only by the transparent outlook on revolution and people of the respected ComradeKim Jong Un who knows no satisfaction in the work for the people.
They ardently called for supporting the line of the Party Central Committee on regional construction with single-minded loyalty in the indomitable patriotic and fighting spirits.
Speeches were also made by commanders of the 124th regiments of the Korean People's Army.
Excavators, hydraulic loaders and lorries began to work.
