11th National Sketch Festival for Celebrating 84th Birth Anniversary of Great Leader Kim Jong Il opens
The 11th National Sketch Festival for Celebrating the 84th Birth Anniversary of the Great Leader Kim Jong Il opened with due ceremony.
Presented to the festival were more than 390 sketches of diverse themes and genres created by artists, amateurs, students and pupils, and children across the country.
The opening ceremony of the festival was held at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on the 9th.
Present there were Ri Yong Nam, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, creators, and working people and school youth and children in the city.
Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the sketches on display.
