Film week for celebrating February 16 opens
  A film week for celebrating February 16 opened on the occasion of the auspicious holiday in February.
  To be screened during the film week at cinemas and houses of culture are documentaries dealing with the immortal revolutionary exploits performed by the great leader Kim Jong Il for the Party, revolution, times and history and the history of revolutionary leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is making an uninterrupted journey of devoted service for the people's well-being to provide them with a more civilized and happy life as well as feature films of diverse themes.
  An opening ceremony was held at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on the 10th.
  Present there were Ju Chang Il, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Hui Thae, Chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, officials, creators and artistes in the filmdom, and working people in the city.
  An opening address was made by Ri Song Un, Director-General of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry.
  After the ceremony, the participants watched Part 6 "To Make Ours Ever-Victorious Revolutionary Party" from the Korean documentary "Peerless Patriot General Kim Jong Il".
  That day also witnessed film weeks that opened in the provinces.
