Official Party and state commendations awarded to soldier-builders and youth shock-brigaders
A meeting of awarding the official Party and state commendations to the soldier-builders and youth shock-brigaders who performed labour feats in the construction of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm was held with splendour in the capital city of Pyongyang on the 16th.
Present at the meeting were Choe Ryong Hae, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and other officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, and soldier-builders, youth shock-brigaders, commanding officers of the People's Army, youth league officials and youth and students who performed labour feats in the construction of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.
Ri Il Hwan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made a congratulatory speech.
Choe Ryong Hae read out a decree of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK.
The title of Labour Hero of the DPRK and Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of the National Flag 1st Class were awarded to 20 persons, Order ofKim Il Sung to 3, Order of Kim Jong Il to 3, the watch carrying the name of the great leader Kim Jong Il to 9, the citation of General Secretary of the WPK Kim Jong Un to 41, Kim Il Sung Youth Honour Prize to 21, Kim Jong Il Youth Honour Prize to 22, Order of the National Flag 1st Class to 64, Order of Labour to 54, Order of the National Flag 2nd Class to 570, Order of the National Flag 3rd Class to 1,476, Distinguished Military Service Medal to 2,568 and Medal of Merit to 764.
