3rd People's Art Festival for Celebrating February 16 closes
The 3rd People's Art Festival for Celebrating February 16 came to a close.
Its closing ceremony was held at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre on the 18th.
Present there were So Kyong Nam, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, participants in the festival and working people in the city of Pyongyang.
The result of examination of the festival was announced at the ceremony.
The ensemble prize was awarded to 9 works highly estimated at the festival, creation prize to 3 people, acting prize to 11 people and team prize to 30 units.
Diplomas and cups according to the prizes of the festival as well as prizes were awarded.
A letter of loyalty to the respected ComradeKim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.
Vice-Minister of Culture Pak Kyong Chol, Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Festival, made a closing address.
The flag of the festival was pulled down amid the playing of the song "Shine,Jong Il Peak".
Then a closing performance was given.
