The WPK is the firm leading core of the Korean revolution and construction, it said and continued.
The WPK has made dynamic efforts, uniting and leading the Korean people for a long time, and thus achieved important successes in the journey of promoting the socialist cause of Korea.
In recent years, the WPK has applied the five-point Party-building line in the new era, steadfastly took the road of socialism, directed efforts to the economic development and improvement of the people's living and thus achieved a series of happy successes under the firm leadership of General Secretary
The Ninth Congress of the WPK, a great event in the political life of the Korean Party and people, is of great significance in working out the strategic plan for the Party building and national economic development in Korea for a certain period in the future and making arrangements, the message said and wished the Korean people constant new and greater successes in the socialist construction under the firm leadership of the Central Committee of the WPK headed by General Secretary
It said that China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are both the socialist states led by the communist parties and that in recent years, the China-DPRK relations have entered a new historic period thanks to the strategic leadership of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries.
It noted that the Communist Party of China consistently attaches great importance to the development of friendly and cooperative relations with the WPK and has the willingness to jointly lead the sound and stable development of the China-DPRK relations, propel the stable and long-term development of the socialist cause of the two countries and promote peace, stability, development and prosperity of the region by strengthening the understanding and visits with the WPK and intensifying exchanges of experience in party and state administration.
