Efforts concentrated on offshore farming
The Kumipho Fishery Station in the west coastal area is increasing the production of kelp by manuring and cultivating them in a scientific and technological way while introducing advanced techniques for kelp farming. The Pupho Offshore Farm finished sowing and plating of kelp in a qualitative way, increasing production.
The Songdowon Fishery Station, the Kosong Offshore Farm and the Tongchon Fishery Station in the eastern coastal area are harvesting large quantities of mussels and other products.
