Enlarged plenary meeting of Cabinet Committee of WPK held
An enlarged plenary meeting of the Party Committee of the Cabinet was held on the 4th to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Party Central Committee.
It was guided by Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Present at the meeting were members and alternate members of the Party Committee of the Cabinet and officials concerned were on hand as observers.
The meeting discussed and decided on measures to successfully attain the new prospective goals set by the Ninth Party Congress by displaying higher fighting efficiency of the whole Party and in the way of offensive advance on the basis of the priceless fruits made through arduous struggle and the precious review.
Ri Yong Sik, Chief Secretary of the Party Committee of the Cabinet, made a report, which was followed by speeches.
There were sectional consultative meetings for drawing up plans to carry out the policy tasks for the Cabinet and the economic guidance organs on the basis of the orientation of advance and the action program clarified at the Party Congress.
A decision on carrying through the important tasks presented at the Ninth Party Congress and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Party Central Committee was adopted with unanimous approval at the meeting.
