Enlarged plenary meetings of Pyongyang Municipal Committee and provincial committees of WPK held
Enlarged plenary meetings of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee and the provincial committees of Workers' Party of Korea were held
on the 5th and the 6th to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Party
Central Committee.
They were guided by a member of the Presidium and members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and senior officials of the Party Central Committee.
Present at the meetings were members and alternate members of the provincial Party committees, and officials of the Party and government organs, and administrative and economic institutions of those regions were on hand as observers.
The meetings discussed and decided on the ways and practical issues for making a surer progress in the economic development and the improvement of the people's living in the provinces while further consolidating the successes and experiences gained during the past five years.
Speeches were made at the meetings.
There were sectional consultative meetings to confirm future goals of struggle on the basis of the idea and important tasks set forth by the Ninth Party Congress and carry them out without fail.
Decisions were adopted with unanimous approval at the meetings.
