National meeting held to commemorate 116th March 8 International Women's Day
A national meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture on the 8th to commemorate the 116th March 8 International Women's Day.

Also on hand were women of foreign diplomatic missions in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

He said that the noble view of life of the Korean women, who are extremely faithful to their families and society and devote their all to the revolution and the country, and the tradition continuously carried forward by them were formed and developed in the embrace of the great Party, and went on to say.
The Korean women, who had been subjected to humiliation and contempt as victims of all sorts of social evils in the thousands of year-long history, emerged as masters of building a new country, firmly united as one under the banner of patriotism with the same rights with men.
