DPRK team advances to quarterfinals in 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup
12 participating teams are divided into three groups for group league matches. Those teams that come first and second in each group and two teams with high results among the teams that come third will advance to the next stage and the final standings will be decided by a knockout competition.
The team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea belongs to Group B along with the teams of Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and China. The DPRK team got a total of six points and came second in its group, advancing to the quarterfinals.
