Report on state budget to First Session of 15th SPA
The report said the entire people across the country executed the state budget for 2025 as planned by waging a dynamic struggle for carrying out the five-year plan for national economic development while persistently tiding over serious challenges and difficulties true to the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the great Party Central Committee.
It noted that the state budget for 2026 was compiled to promote the development of all sectors and units including science, education, public health and literature and arts and contribute to the improvement of the people's living while concentrating investment on possessing more tremendous strength capable of repulsing all kinds of military threats to defend the sovereignty and security of the country and on successfully attaining the production goals for this year in all fields of the national economy as demanded by the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress and the First Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Party Central Committee.
The report called on all officials to execute the state budget for 2026 in a responsible manner so that it can be the budget powerfully promoting the all-people advance for a new progress in the socialist construction.
