80th anniversary of Pyongyang Orphanage marked
  A meeting was held on April 2 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Pyongyang Orphanage.
  It was attended by officials concerned, and officials and employees of the orphanage.
  Choe Song Ran, Director of the Pyongyang Orphanage, made a report.
  She said the great leader Kim Il Sung took measures to bring up the parentless children with full responsibility of the state on April 3, 1946 and paid deep attention to their living.
  During the Arduous March the great leader Kim Jong Il saw that foodgrain and subsidiary foods were preferentially supplied to the orphans and took state measures to bring them up with nothing to envy, she added.
  She emphasized that the Pyongyang Orphanage has been wonderfully built into a cradle of happiness of the orphans and a palace of children where their beautiful dreams and hopes are realized under the benevolent care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, fully demonstrating the advantages of our socialist system.
