DPRK Premier inspects construction sites of Samjiyon mountain tourist area and Tanchon Power Station
Pak Thae Song, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of the Samjiyon mountain tourist area under construction and the first-stage construction site of the Tanchon Power Station nearing inauguration.
Learning about how the projects are proceeding in different places of the construction site of the Samjiyon mountain tourist area, he stressed the need to reinforce builders and skilled workers and increase the operating rate of the construction equipment to promote the projects as scheduled.
Summing up the preparations for this year's projects, he emphasized that all the officials should complete the projects planned on the highest qualitative level.
Overseeing the ceremony of moving out of vehicles and tools exhibition of Division 216, he underlined the need to invent, introduce and generalize a greater number of advanced and efficient equipment and tools.
At the first-stage construction site of the Tanchon Power Station before inauguration, he touched on solving sci-tech problems arising in raising the efficiency of generating equipment and extremely reducing the loss of power and on taking foresighted measures to boost the electric power generation after inauguration in a stable way.
Relevant measures were taken at the consultative meeting held on the spot.
