Cultivation of flowers brisk in Pyongyang
The floriculture stations in the city are putting greater efforts into cultivating flowers to decorate the streets and villages more conspicuously.
The Moranbong District Floriculture Station is raising the ornamental effects of the flowers planted in the flower beds along the streets while cultivating low temperature flowers in a scientific and technological way in keeping with the rising atmospheric temperature. Other floriculture stations including the Phyongchon District Floriculture Station are directing efforts to creating peculiar green landscape with flowers which are open for a long time and have great ornamental value, adding beauty to the streets and giving pleasure to the people.
